In a gripping retelling of a harrowing real-life event, the upcoming series “IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack” delves into the intense drama that unfolded during the hijacking of IC 814, a passenger aircraft with around 190 people on board, including passengers, crew members, and militants. The 176-second trailer provides a glimpse into the high-stakes situation inside the aircraft and the frantic efforts made outside to secure the safe release of everyone involved.
Starring Vijay Varma as the pilot, the show features a stellar ensemble cast including Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Arvind Swamy, and Dia Mirza, among others. The series is the brainchild of creators Anubhav Sinha and Trishant Srivastava, with Sinha leading the charge.
