Apple TV Plus Show Season 2 First Look and Release Date Revealed with Perfect Rotten Tomatoes Score
Apple TV Plus is gearing up for the return of one of its lesser-known shows, Bad Sisters, for its second season. The show, which boasts a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, follows the Garvey sisters as they navigate through challenging situations. The first season delved into the mysterious death of John Paul, one of the sisters’ abusive spouses, and the subsequent investigation into his demise by two insurance agents. Bad Sisters is an adaptation of the Flemish series Clan.
The newly released first look for season 2 hints at a wedding, possibly Grace’s, as she is seen in a white dress alongside her sisters. While some appear apprehensive, Grace and Becka seem relaxed, adding an air of mystery to the upcoming season. The season’s synopsis teases a compelling storyline, stating, “Two years after the ‘accidental death’ of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed, and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust.”
Fans can look forward to the return of familiar faces in the cast, including Sharon Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson. Additionally, Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, and Peter Claffey will be joining the ensemble. The lineup is completed by Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon, and Justine Mitchell.
Season 2 of Bad Sisters is set to premiere on November 13 with a double episode debut, followed by weekly releases until the finale on December 25, promising a festive treat for viewers.
