Apple TV+ Announces November Release Date for Bad Sisters Season 2

After a long wait, fans of the dark comedy series “Bad Sisters” can finally mark their calendars for the return of Season 2. The Apple TV+ show is set to premiere on Wednesday, Nov. 13, with a double episode release, followed by weekly episodes until Dec. 25.

Season 1 of “Bad Sisters,” which concluded in September 2022, revolved around Eva Garvey, played by Catastrophe’s Sharon Horgan, as the protective older sister of Grace, portrayed by Anne-Marie Duff. The storyline took a twist when Grace’s abusive husband, John Paul, played by Claes Bang, died under suspicious circumstances. Flashbacks revealed that Eva and her sisters – Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene), and Becka (Eve Hewson) – harbored deep animosity towards John Paul and had clandestinely conspired to end his life. Following his demise, a life insurance agent began to suspect the sisters’ involvement in the crime.

Season 2 of “Bad Sisters” will consist of eight episodes and will pick up the narrative two years after John Paul’s “accidental death.” The sisters have seemingly moved on, but as past truths resurface, they find themselves back in the limelight. Suspicions run high, lies are told, secrets are unveiled, and the sisters must navigate a web of trust issues, as per the official synopsis.

Joining the cast for Season 2 are Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon, and Justine Mitchell, adding new layers to the gripping storyline.

Excitement is building as fans eagerly anticipate the return of “Bad Sisters” and the unraveling of the sisters’ intricate web of lies and secrets. Stay tuned for the premiere on Nov. 13, and prepare for a rollercoaster ride of suspense and drama in the upcoming season.
