The Peacock reality dating show, “Love Island USA,” has been making waves in the streaming world. According to Luminate Streaming Ratings, the show’s Season 6 dominated the charts for the week of July 5-11, accumulating a staggering 919.1 million minutes watched. This marked a significant 61% increase in viewership from the previous week and a remarkable 257% surge from its debut week. With 27 episodes released by July 11, the show’s popularity has been steadily growing.

Following closely behind “Love Island USA” was “The Bear” Season 3, which garnered 630.7 million minutes watched in its first full week on Hulu. The popular series “The Boys” Season 4 secured the third spot with 471.4 million minutes watched during the same period, coinciding with the release of Episode 6 and the premiere of Episode 7.

New entries into the streaming charts included “Desperate Lies,” a Brazilian melodrama ranking fourth with 446.8 million minutes watched, and docuseries “The Man With 1000 Kids,” which claimed the sixth spot with 346.4 million minutes watched. Additionally, “The American Barbecue Showdown” made its debut as the ninth most-watched title with 310.9 million minutes watched, all on Netflix.

The rest of the chart featured recurring favorites such as “Supacell,” “Bridgerton” Season 3, and “Owning Manhattan” on Netflix, along with “Presumed Innocent” on Apple TV+. On the movie front, “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” surged to the top spot, amassing 1.6 billion minutes watched, followed by “A Family Affair” with 632.2 million minutes watched.

Debuts on the movie chart included Amazon Prime Video’s “Space Cadet” and “Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black,” as well as Netflix’s “Goyo” and “Vanished Into the Night.” Other titles like “Trigger Warning,” “Leave the World Behind,” “Hit Man,” and “I Am: Celine Dion” rounded out the movie rankings, each watched for less than 200 million minutes.
