Marvel fans are in for a treat with the upcoming spinoff series, “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,” which is set to delve deeper into the intriguing character of Agatha Harkness. The show, which is a follow-up to the popular Disney+ series “WandaVision,” will see Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as the disgraced witch Agatha Harkness.

Initially announced under different titles, the spinoff underwent several name changes before settling on “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,” which eventually evolved into the fitting title, “Agatha All Along.” The series is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2024, offering fans a new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In “WandaVision,” Kathryn Hahn’s character, initially introduced as Agnes, was later revealed to be the powerful witch Agatha Harkness. Known for surviving the Salem Witch Trials, Agatha is depicted as a formidable force, particularly in her interactions with Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch.

One of the highlights of “WandaVision” was the catchy theme song “Agatha All Along,” which Kathryn Hahn shared was a surprise even to her. Reflecting on the experience, Hahn mentioned that she always knew her character would have a theme song but was taken aback when she was asked to sing it during filming. Patti LuPone teased fans with intriguing details about the show during an appearance on The View, hinting at Joe Locke’s character being a “familiar.” Additionally, she described her own character, Lilia Calderu, as a 450-year-old Sicilian witch with powers in divination and tarot.
