‘Abigail’ Vampire Film from Radio Silence to Debut on Peacock – Premiere Date Announced

Peacock has recently revealed that the vampire horror comedy film “Abigail,” directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence, will be available for streaming exclusively on the platform starting July 19. The movie, which amassed a global box office revenue exceeding $42 million following its theatrical release in April, follows a heist team tasked with abducting the daughter of a prominent underworld figure. Their mission is to safeguard the young ballerina for a single night in exchange for a hefty $50 million ransom. However, as their numbers dwindle, the captors soon realize they are trapped in a secluded mansion with a far-from-ordinary little girl.

“Abigail” boasts a talented cast including Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, Kevin Durand, Angus Cloud, Alisha Weir, and Giancarlo Esposito. The screenplay, penned by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick, offers a fresh take on Universal’s classic monster movie legacy.

Behind the scenes, the film was brought to life through the collaborative efforts of producers William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, Tripp Vinson, and Chad Villella. Ron Lynch took on the role of executive producer, ensuring the smooth execution of the project.

With its unique blend of horror, comedy, and suspense, “Abigail” promises to captivate audiences with its inventive storyline and stellar performances. As it joins Peacock’s lineup, viewers can look forward to immersing themselves in a thrilling cinematic experience that redefines the boundaries of the vampire genre.

Stay tuned for the exclusive streaming release of “Abigail” on Peacock this July, where fans of horror and comedy alike can indulge in a one-of-a-kind cinematic journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected surprises.
