Apple TV+ reveals sneak peek of new French-language fashion series ‘La Maison’
Apple TV+ unveiled a sneak peek at their upcoming series, “La Maison,” a French-language family drama set in a prestigious Parisian high-fashion atelier. The show provides an inside look at the world of fashion, focusing on two rival families competing for supremacy in the high-stakes realm of haute couture.
Scheduled to premiere globally on September 20, 2024, “La Maison” will kick off with the first two episodes on Apple TV+, followed by weekly releases until November 15, 2024. The series delves into the turmoil faced by the iconic fashion house, LEDU, after a scandal involving renowned designer Vincent Ledu (played by Lambert Wilson) threatens its existence. Led by Perle Foster (Amira Casar) and Paloma Castel (Zita Hanrot), the narrative follows their efforts to revitalize Maison LEDU in the wake of Vincent’s downfall, while facing off against the ruthless Diane Rovel (Carole Bouquet) of the powerful Rovel luxury group, who aims to acquire the legendary brand at any cost.
The star-studded cast of “La Maison” includes Lambert Wilson, Amira Casar, Carole Bouquet, Zita Hanrot, Pierre Deladonchamps, Antoine Reinartz, Anne Consigny, Florence Loiret Caille, Ji-Min Park, and Corentin Fila. The series, based on an original concept by Alex Berger, is helmed by showrunners José Caltagirone and Valentine Milville, with direction from acclaimed filmmakers Fabrice Gobert and Daniel Grou. Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet serves as an executive producer for the TOA – The Originals of America production in collaboration with TOP – The Originals Productions.
