Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s Netflix Livestreamed Boxing Match Delayed by Tyson’s Ulcer Flare-Up

The upcoming highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, to be livestreamed on Netflix, has been postponed due to Tyson’s recent ulcer flare-up. The event’s promoter, Most Valuable Promotions, announced that the fight scheduled for July 20 will now take place later in 2024 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The new date will be revealed by June 7.

In a statement, Most Valuable Promotions emphasized the importance of both athletes having equal training time to prepare for the match. Tyson has been advised to engage in minimal to light training over the next few weeks before returning to full training without restrictions. The health and well-being of the athletes are the top priority for the organizers.

Tyson is expected to resume his full training schedule soon and is eager to get back in the ring. Meanwhile, Netflix also acknowledged the postponement of the Paul vs. Tyson fight on social media.
