John Walsh, Hulu, NBC, and Netflix Victorious at CrimeCon 2024 Clue Awards

The annual Clue Awards at CrimeCon celebrated the achievements of various winners including Hulu, NBC, Netflix, Black and Missing, Hachette Books, and CBC Podcasts. Among the top honors, Dateline NBC’s “The Murdaugh Murders: Inside the Investigation” was recognized as the outstanding docuseries, while Hulu’s “Me Hereafter” was named the top episodic series and Netflix’s “Cyberbunker: The Criminal Underworld” stood out as the top documentary film.

John Walsh, the host and creator of “America’s Most Wanted,” graciously accepted the prestigious “Crimefighter of the Year” award. Laura Tierney, a senior inspector with the U.S. Marshals Service, was honored with the title of “America’s Greatest Detective.” Additionally, Kimberly Arnold and Katie Mitchell, co-hosts of the Dateline recap podcast “A Date with Dateline,” were recognized as the winners of the Clue’s “People’s Choice Awards: Creator of the Year.”

The ceremony was hosted by NewsNation anchor Ashleigh Banfield. The winners across various categories in the 2024 Clue Awards included outstanding docuseries, episodic series, book of the year, documentary film, podcast episodic series, and podcast docuseries.
