John Stamos Joins UnPrisoned, Netflix’s Minecraft Series, and More in TVLine News

John Stamos is set to join the cast of UnPrisoned for its second season on Hulu. He will portray Murphy, a best-selling author and self-proclaimed ‘family radical healing coach,’ who is described as a half-guru/half-reality star therapist. Stamos will be joining other guest stars like Oliver Hudson, Jamie Chung, and Brandee Evans in the series.

UnPrisoned Season 2, starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo, is scheduled to premiere with all eight episodes on Wednesday, July 17.

In other news, Netflix is developing a CG-animated Minecraft series that will showcase the world of the popular video game in a new light. Prime Video has also picked up an animated series called Kevin, written by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, which follows the story of a housecat who decides to live independently. Additionally, Netflix has ordered an adult animated comedy titled The Undervale, while Prime Video’s upcoming YA series, We Were Liars, has announced its cast.

Masterpiece on PBS has released a trailer for Moonflower Murders, a series starring Lesley Manville and Tim McMullan, set to premiere on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 9/8c.
